Christmas and New Year’s is gonna sneak up on us!

I am sure you are all thinking it, but where in the world did this year go?!?!

I cannot believe we just survived another Thanksgiving!  It was our busiest to date!  Thank you pie lovers for your continued support!  We wouldn’t be here without you!

Now that our staff has started to recover from Thanksgiving.   …we thought we better give a quick think on Christmas and New Years!

• Shipped Pies

For those wanting to ship pies to the mainland for gifts, or to share with your loved ones over the Christmas holiday, the last day to order shipped pies will be Thursday, December 13th at 5 pm Hawaii time.  All holiday pies will be shipped out Monday December 17th to arrive on Wednesday, December 19th.

As you can imagine, the UPS men and women are ridiculously busy this time of year and they will not guarantee your pies arrive in time after that date.  Please plan accordingly!

Our frozen pies last up to 3 months frozen, maybe you should order one or two for Valentine’s Day as well!

• Christmas Pick Up Orders

For those of you planning to pick up your Christmas Pies here on Kaua’i, we will have extended holiday hours for the holidays.

Our Lihue location, Pie on the Fly, of course is open every day 6a-10p.  You will be able to schedule pick ups of special orders there at 10 am any day except Christmas itself.

Our Kalaheo shop will be open on Sunday, December 23rd from 9a-4p, for those of you who would like to pick up your pies in time for Christmas Eve.  And we will be open Monday, December 24th from 11-4, on Christmas Eve.

You can place your pick up orders online or in person or over the phone anytime until Friday, December 21st at 6 pm.  After that time our bakers will need time to prepare and bake.   …since we all know good pies don’t grow on trees!

Since we are talking holidays, let’s talk New Year’s Eve!  Who’s ready to celebrate!?!

• New Year’s Eve

Because we are normally closed on Sundays and Mondays, our suggested pick up date for NYE party pies is Saturday, December 29th.  Our bakers can help you choose a pie that will have a great flavor even if you wait until the 31st to dive in…or perhaps consider one of our fresh baked and frozen pies to pop in the freezer until the big party!

We are making some exciting plans for 2019!  We know it will be our best year ever!  You will want to stay tuned!!!  trust me.  😉
