Updated Temporary Hours

Starting Sunday, April 26th we will be having the following hours of availability at the Kalaheo shop.

Monday through Thursday 10-6:30

Friday and Saturday 10-4

Sunday closed until large gatherings are brought back like church and family functions

Tuesday:  Lunch deliveries to Lihue, no charge, no minimum

Friday:  deliveries to Kalaheo, Koloa and Poipu from 4-5 pm, no charge, no minimum

May 5th:  deliveries to Kapaa 8:30 am, Kilauea 9:30 am and Princeville 10:30 am  $8 charge, no minimum.

While our shop doors remain ‘closed’, we are here.  We are only allowing 1 customer at a time, which is why our doors are not currently standing open as usual.  But call when you arrive, and we will be happy to open the door…as long as you have your mask!

We are watching our sales closely and are thrilled to have nearly hit 30% of last years April sales. While this would normally be something we would be crying over, we are happy to have been able to keep the lights on here at the bakery, our water bill paid and our staff’s medical insurance paid through the end of the month.  As we close out this month with just a few more days of sales, we are looking forward to seeing your smiling faces at our door.

This is all thanks to you!  You have supported us and our community by donating nearly 200 pot pies to families in need here on Kauai, as well as purchasing gift certificates for future use!  And our local community has been so very supportive!  It has been great to be a part of the family celebrations with birthday and anniversary pies this past several weeks.

Our North Shore deliveries are being received with big hearts and huge smiles!  Our next one will be May 5th!  Get your orders in soon for the best selection!

Special orders are currently limited to pies we can get ingredients for, so please be patient.  We are also only baking three days a week, so our 24 hour special order suggestion may actually be longer.  If we haven’t baked fresh today, we will be selling frozen pies.  No day old pies here!!!

We are not selling individual slices of sweet pies at this time.  We are not baking pot pies to order at this time.

I know this is confusing, we are open, but not open.  It is because of the limited number of customers we are allowed at a time, and also because we are taking this time to do some much needed spring cleaning, organizing and planning exciting new things for when we can throw open the doors and welcome you all back inside!

This week was also exciting as Baker Sandy was able to bring back 3 employees.  While she would have loved to bring back everyone, we are taking baby steps…trying to make the best decisions we can for the business and it’s ohana.

We hope you are all continuing to be healthy and safe!  Times are a changing, we will try to change with them and be as adaptive as we can.
