The People Who Walk Through the Door

Jan 29, 2026

Pies are what bring people in, but it’s the people themselves that make this work meaningful. Over the years, the bakery has become a place where relationships grow naturally one visit at a time.

We see familiar faces all the time. Some customers stop in every week and know exactly what they’re looking for. Others come by once a year, maybe while visiting family or on vacation, and pick right back up like no time has passed. Those moments remind us how food can create continuity, even when life moves fast.

There’s something special about being part of people’s routines. A pie picked up for Sunday dinner. Dessert for a birthday that doesn’t need a big fuss. A treat brought along to share because it feels like the right thing to do. We don’t take that lightly. Being trusted with those moments is an honor.

Our team feels that connection too. Working side by side, talking story with customers, remembering names and preferences it all adds up to a sense of ʻohana that goes beyond the bakery walls. That feeling is what keeps us showing up, even on long days.

At the end of the day, the best part of what we do isn’t the ovens or the recipes. It’s the people who walk through the door and make this bakery feel like home.
