Pi, Pie, and a Busy Weekend Ahead

Mid-March is bringing plenty of reasons to stop by The Right Slice, and this weekend is shaping up to be a fun one.

First up, Pi Day is tomorrow (March 14) one of our favorite unofficial holidays. After all, Pi Day is really just an excuse to celebrate what we love most… pie. To mark the occasion, we’ll be hosting a Pi Reciting Challenge in the shop. If you think you’ve got the digits of π (3.14159…) memorized, come give it a try. Whoever can recite the most numbers of Pi without making a mistake will win a free baby pie of their choice. It’s all in good fun, and we’re looking forward to seeing who has the best memory. 

While you’re here, it’s the perfect time to pick up some of your favorite sweet or savory pies. Whether you’re craving something fruity, rich and chocolatey, or one of our comforting savory pies, Pi Day is the perfect excuse to treat yourself.

Looking ahead to next week, we’re also getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day, and we’ll be offering a special savory pie featuring creamy corned beef with scallion mashed potatoes tucked inside our flaky crust. It’s hearty, flavorful, and exactly the kind of comfort food that fits the holiday.

And for our North Shore customers, don’t forget we have our North Shore delivery meet-up coming up on Monday, March 16 at 9:30 AM in Princeville. If you’d like pies delivered that day, be sure to place your order by Friday, March 13 so we can have everything ready.

Between Pi Day, a special St. Patrick’s Day pie, and deliveries heading up to the North Shore, it’s shaping up to be a busy few days here at the shop. We hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and grab a pie or two to enjoy.
