Living on Kauaʻi or even just spending time here has a way of grounding you. You notice the colors more. The air feels different. The connection to the land isn’t something you have to think about it’s just there. The way the mountains change color depending on the light. The way the ocean never looks the same twice. Spend the day outside if you can. Take a hike, walk the shoreline, or just sit somewhere quiet and take it in. Because it’s easy to forget how special it is when you see it every day. Earth Day is a good reminder to take a step back and appreciate that.
We’re keeping things simple with Mango Lilikoi Pie and Veggie Pot Pie fresh, vibrant, and grounded in the kind of ingredients that don’t need much added to them. Good food doesn’t have to be complicated. It just has to be real. And that’s something worth holding onto.
