The Right Slice Pies across the US…

Last week we shipped out two pies to the mainland. 

I was very excited to hear what Rick from Minnesota had to say…You see…Rick is somewhat of a pie expert and has his very own Pie Council within his work office!  What a treat!  Working with others who share a passion for good food!

Well….the Mango Lilikoi Pie made it safe and sound, was promptly baked off and enjoyed.  Here is what they had to say:

I recently got a tip about a pie shop in Hawaii that has an impressive selection of pies that you can order online. It’s called The Right Slice, and they offer everything from apple to guava pies. I ordered a mango lilikoi pie, and it arrived today. I worked with our on-site food services provider, Sodexo, to bake it yesterday, and invited some employee pie aficionados whom I’ve come to know over the years in for a tasting. 

For most of the taste testers, it was their first time trying a mango pie. The verdict was good. Good, flaky crust but it could have been a little thicker. Nice balance between sweet and tangy. Here’s are pictures of the pie and the taste testers.

…And….on the topic of shipping pies.  We have had a lot of requests to ship pies.  At this time we ship the following flavors:  Mango Lilikoi, Tropical Banana, Blueberry Pina Colada.  Pies are shipped in 10 inch extra deep tins.

Shipping is currently only to the US, and goes out 2 Day Air via UPS.  We can ship pies Monday thru Wednesday, arriving on your doorstep Wednesday thru Friday.

Shipping in the future…

We are working on some pie tests in the next couple of weeks to hopefully add to that list of flavors.  Keep an eye on our blog as well as our Facebook Page for details.  This weekend we will be working on the Island Lemon and the Paradise Pie flavors…

We also received some new pie box samples in yesterday to try…so our next trial shipment will be going out soon.
