The Right Slice is open for business!!!

As you all know, we have had quite a busy area here at our Lihue store the past year and a half.  Our new neighbors now have their big fancy new warehouse up and are getting ready for the final push to get their project all wrapped up.

This includes a very nice new concrete parking lot for us here at The Right Slice, Kauai Fresh Pies!  Yippee!!!  You have been ever so patient with the mud pit, pot holes, rainy day rivers and everything else in this lot over the past year.  Thank you so much for that.  I know many of you have braved the mud to get your ono slice of pie.

So, here is the deal.  Starting this Friday, July 18th and going until next week Tuesday, July 22nd, our parking lot will be CLOSED.  This does NOT mean we are closed…you know us better than that!  Hardcore pie bakers around here!  🙂  We will be open!  Our employees will be parking up the street, so that we can save you, our most valued customers, the prime parking stalls on the road, right in front of the shop.  Please stop in, say Aloha and grab a slice…or maybe some pot pies for dinner!

Of course, in this long weekend you will still find us at all of our events!

Thursday nights at Kauai Beer Company, food truck rally from 3-8 pm

Friday nights at Hanapepe Art Night, 5-9 pm

Then….just a couple of short weeks after the parking lot is finished, our landlord will also be pouring concrete on the back side of our shop.  This means we will once again have SEATING!!!!  You have been so patient with only three tables outside on the lanai, sitting with new pie loving friends or giving up your seat for the next family waiting for a table.  I am excited to say that with in the next month or so we will have our full lanai back in use, as soon as that concrete is set!

This means 4 additional tables and lots of room to spread out!  Call your friends, come on in and have pie social hour here with us!

You have been very patient as this construction proceeded, much mahalos for that!  We are excited to be bringing back the lanai…and we will get that ugly dust fence down…and yes, those are snowmen drawn on there…we didn’t expect the fence to still be there in July.  Just think of it as Christmas in July decorations!

So stop in this weekend, the road will be open for parking.  Then be sure to come back at the end of August to see the new lanai and all the extra seating!

Much Mahalos for all of your support and patience!  We wouldn’t be here without you!
