A hui hou…until we meet again

We have made the difficult decision to have today be our last day with “store hours”.

what does this mean exactly?  It means we want our staff and customers to be safe and healthy.

our hours will be 11-6 today, Tuesday March 31st, with all fresh baked pies 20% off, while they last.

after today we will continue to accept special orders for pies we are able to get ingredients for.  We will be happy to take orders online or over the phone.  We will meet you at the bakery or deliver to your curbside.  🙂

we will also offer “will call” on frozen pies anytime during usual business hours.  This means, if you get a pie craving, give us a call and we will let you know what’s in the freezer case today.  You can swing by and grab a few!

Many of you have expressed a desire to help.  We are so blessed to have you in our lives.  At this time we are doing several things…

1.  You can purchase a #givekauaihope T shirt (see our previous post) of which $10 will come directly to us.
2. You can purchase a TRS gift certificate which will be good until December 31, 2021.
3. Finally, you can purchase pies and pot pies to be donated.  We have made several donations already and will be working with local groups to determine areas of need.  If you wish to donate, simply place an online order and include in the notes that you wish your order to be donated.  We will take care of the rest!

what we will not be doing is accepting outright donations to ourselves. While we are humbled that you have offered, we feel strongly that there are many others in the world today in a much more difficult position than we are.  Please put your donation and focus there.

like the title of this post says, this is not goodbye, this is until we meet again!
