Slice-It-Forward: Sharing Aloha With Our Schools (All Year Long)

Sixteen years in, we’ve learned one delicious truth: a good slice can lift a whole day. Starting now, we’re extending Slice-It-Forward through the entire year so our Kalāheo and Kauaʻi school ʻohana feel that lift again and again.

How it works (simple & sweet):

1. Visit the bakery in Kalāheo and look for the Slice-It-Forward board near the register.

2. Write a note on one of our cards—mahalo to a teacher, counselor, cafeteria team, bus driver, or the whole staff.

3. Choose a school (K-12 or early learning on Kauaʻi).

4. Add a contribution at checkout. We batch contributions into full pies and deliver to your chosen school with your messages attached.

5. We’ll share updates on deliveries (and totals) throughout the year.

Why Slice-It-Forward?

In Hawaiian culture, ʻohana includes more than blood relatives; it embraces the community we care for—like our school ʻohana. With ʻohana comes kuleana, a shared responsibility to look out for one another. Slice-It-Forward is our bakery’s way of living that value—one pie at a time. AFFECT+1

Delivery Details

• Schedule: We consolidate contributions and deliver pies on a rotating basis so each chosen school receives a meaningful share.

• Presentation: Pies arrive with a card of your messages and a short ingredient story (we love spotlighting our local farm partners).

• Allergies: Schools will be asked to handle serving; we provide flavor labels and ingredient lists upon request.

• Photos: We respect privacy; we only share delivery photos with permission from the school.
