Some folks wake up the day after Thanksgiving ready to sprint through big-box stores. Over here in Kalaheo, our Friday usually starts a little differently — with the smell of real butter, fresh fruit, and a whole lot of gratitude drifting out the bakery doors.
But this year, our Black Friday looks even simpler than usual… because we’ll be closed.
We’re taking the day off for our annual Employee Appreciation Day.
Our hardworking team deserves a moment to breathe after the Thanksgiving rush — a day to sleep in, enjoy their families, and reset before the holiday season really gets rolling. They put their hearts into every pie that leaves our kitchen, and we want to honor that.
We’ll be back open on Saturday with full hearts (and full ovens!), ready to welcome you home to Kalaheo with all your favorite sweet slices and take-n-bake pot pies.
