Can you believe it’s already August? 
It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the beginning of summer, and now we’re watching families squeeze in one last beach day before school starts, visitors soaking up every sunset they can, and our local community getting back into the rhythm of another busy season.
The mornings seem a little calmer. The trade winds cool things off just enough to enjoy a cup of coffee outside. Farmers are harvesting beautiful local produce, and weekends are filled with art walks, markets, family gatherings, and backyard barbecues. It’s one of those months that reminds us how lucky we are to call this island home. And then there are the families who make it a tradition to stop by every year during their vacation because “it just wouldn’t be a trip to Kauaʻi without pie.
