From Hanapēpē Art Nights to a Storefront

Tomorrow is a special day at The Right Slice. On October 7, we’re celebrating our 17th anniversary, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Our story began at Hanapēpē Art Nights, sharing pies and getting to know the community. Those early evenings were part of the journey that brought us to a storefront in Kalaheo and to the customers who have become such an important part of our lives. Maybe you first tried our pies at Art Night. Maybe a friend brought you into the shop, or you discovered us while looking for something delicious at a farmers market. However you found us, we’re happy you did. Seventeen years gives us plenty to celebrate. But an anniversary also makes us think about the everyday moments that keep a small business going: a familiar face walking through the door, someone introducing a visiting friend to their favorite pie, or a customer telling us that dessert was a hit at the family gathering. Those moments mean so much. We don’t always get to see where our pies end up, but we love knowing they become part of your dinners, celebrations, and little treats along the way.

For tomorrow’s anniversary, we’re bringing back a taste of the early days with throwback pricing from when we first started offering slices and pot pies!

🥧 Buy a whole pie and get ANY slice for just $5. Choose a whole pie to take home and share, then pick a slice for yourself. Stay with your longtime favorite or try the other flavor you keep thinking about. An anniversary seems like a pretty good reason to enjoy both! 🍽️ Buy 2 pot pies and get a third for just $10. Make it a comforting dinner to share or enjoy having an extra meal ready for another day. Sometimes the nicest treat is knowing dinner is already taken care of. Both specials are part of our October 7 anniversary celebration, so make plans to stop by tomorrow!

As we continue recovering from the hurricane, this milestone feels especially meaningful. Your visits, kind words, and recommendations have helped us keep moving forward.
